This is a collection of correspondence, bids, contracts, and cancelled checks having to do with the construction of a new girls dormitory and gymnasium at Kentucky State Industrial College for Colored Persons in Frankfort, Kentucky, now known as Kentucky State University. The girls dormitory had been destroyed by fire in 1926. Also present are security bonds for school officials including presidents G.P. Russell and Rufus B. Atwood.
